Fish Sauce Bottle with Peonies Print

Story behind the artwork: This design was inspired by an image I found of my mother holding a miniature version of the Squid brand fish sauce. During the winter of 2019, she visited me in Boston and saw that I did not have this condiment in my kitchen. Knowing that there are very few places in Boston that offers authentic Thai cuisine and wanting to make some at home, she insisted that I buy a bottle of fish sauce for her. I finally found one at a market called Sunrise Market in Allston but was only able to find a miniature version. Regardless, it was the perfect amount for her stay.
